Order Entry & Invoicing
The WOODPRO 2000 Order Entry/Invoicing module is designed to provide
fast, efficient order processing with a high level of control and
accuracy. The advanced features of this module include: unit
conversion, tallies, packages, and back-to-back sales orders.
Freight costs are tracked throughout the system and can be used to reduce
discounts offered to customers.
WOODPRO 2000 uses a split screen window format which enables the user
to view many orders at once as well as facilitate easy data entry.
The Sales Order Maintenance screen displays various information related to customer concerns. This includes credit limit and
status, amount owing and its aging, order status, shipping status, and
notes or comments. A new order may be generated
directly from a previous order by using the Copy feature. This time
saving feature will copy all information from a previous order, including
back-to-back and direct orders, direct to a new order. Rather than
re-entering a similar order from scratch, only changes need to be made.
In addition to the standard sold to/ship to address, WOODPRO 2000
software also provides an origin/destination feature for additional
transportation detail. The Miscellaneous function button allows access
to a wide variety of inquiry and history information about the customer.
You are able to print, fax and email Sales Orders, Bill of
Lading and Invoices directly from the screen.
The Quotation Maintenance has full Quotation
functionality. The Quote is created and maintained without causing
any effect to the quantity level of the Inventory on Hand. This allows
for a Quote to be prepared and sent to the customer for approval. If
it is a multi-stage release, the quote can remain open and be drawn upon,
with only the required items and quantities shipped as directed by the
customer. The Transfer Maintenance then converts those shipments into
Sales Orders with a direct link back to the original quote. Full
reporting is also included with a Quoted vs. Shipped detail along with full
inquiry ability.
The Daily Route Maintenance assists the
shipper to assemble truckloads based on the weight of the orders and the
maximum truck capacity, with orders organized for delivery according to
Delivery Zone. If the weight exceeds the truck maximum, it is
displayed in red. A complete history details the deliveries made
with a direct link to the appropriate Bill of Lading.
