Lumber Management OverviewThe WOODPRO 2000 system is designed to fulfill the unique requirements of the lumber industry. The system addresses the information and transaction processing functions encountered by wholesale distributors in the lumber industry. The following are some of the features of the Lumber Management System:
The system allows for data entry of lumber in pieces, tallies, linear, BF or packages. The program converts from one unit of measure to another, allowing items to be stocked in one unit of measure and sold or priced in another (e.g. BF/linear). This flexibility is consistent throughout Order Entry, Purchasing & Receiving, Inventory Inquiry, Remanufacturing, and Transportation. WOODPRO 2000 provides a complete Remanufacturing module that allows you to track costs on a job by job basis. In Purchasing and Receiving, you have the ability to easily distribute the cost of a random tally of lumber to specified lengths while receiving inventory. There is even a complete trucking program to easily manage and control trucking costs. A variety of useful reports are available to assist you in managing and interpreting the data available. A small sample of the reports produced by the system includes: Inventory Sales History (available in 12 formats), Gross Margin Ranking, Inventory History, Package Report, Inventory Aging Reports, Inventory Transaction History Reports, Daily Sales and Monthly Sales Reports.
You will find that the WOODPRO 2000 Lumber Management System will address virtually any concern that you are facing with your existing system.
