RemanufacturingThe WOODPRO 2000 Remanufacturing module is designed to simplify and streamline the accounting for remanufacturing costs. Work Orders can be generated directly from Order Entry.
The Remanufacturing module accumulates the costs and quantities that are added to the remanufacturing job. The cost of the input is automatically allocated to the remanufactured output products. The cost for any number of output products can be overridden and the balance of cost remaining can be automatically calculated and reallocated to the remaining output products. The other way is to enter market value for output products and the cost could be calculated automatically. For work orders which are generated directly from Order Entry, the costs associated with that work order will pass directly through to the invoice. Any combination of output products can be made from any combination of input products. The system tracks all BF used and displays BF produced, input BF and item BF. Remanufacturing costs are easily entered in the input sections or accrued in the trailer for outside vendor(s) and are allocated to the output product. Additional costs can be allocated to General Ledger accounts as required. Truck charges can also be entered. Trailer costs are allocated to the cost of the remanufactured Output Product on a pro-rata basis. With the market value of the output products entered, you can use it to plan jobs in accordance with company policy.
